Course Description

In this webinar, Dr Luke Fletcher will discuss why understanding and improving LGBTQ+ (2SLGBTQIA+ in Canada)  inclusion at work is important. He will connect the audience with latest research and thought leadership on the topic along with some practical recommendations that can be utilised within the workplace. 

Luke will focus on aspects related to disclosure and ‘coming out’ as well as the importance of authenticity and psychological safety, and he will also detail which types of supportive practices and initiatives an organisation can develop to strengthen LGBTQ+ (2SLGBTQIA+ in Canada)  inclusion.

Luke Fletcher

Dr. Luke Fletcher is an Associate Professor in Human Resource Management at the University of Bath, England, UK. His research is primarily at the intersection of applied psychology and strategic human resource management, and includes topics such as employee engagement, meaningful work, and authenticity at work. His latest research interests focus on diversity and inclusion in the workplace, particularly around LGBTQ+ people at work.
