Course Description

Dr. Ødegaard provides us with current research on the effect that worker's health has on their work productivity and how we can move this research into practice using current strategies and tools for productivity measurement.

During this webinar, you will learn:

Fredrik Odegaard PhD

Fredrik Odegaard PhD is an Assistant  Professor in Management Science at the Ivey School of Business, Western  University, with cross-appointment at the Department of Applied  Mathematics. His expertise is in mathematical modeling, decision making  analysis and empirical investigation. His current research focus is  within Revenue Management and Health Care Management Science.  Specifically within Health Care some of the studies he has been involved with include: operations of hospital porter services, effect  of workers' health on firm productivity, pharmaceutical risk sharing  pay-for-performance agreements, perceived care and self-care of Swedish  diabetes patients, and retention and cessation of methadone treatment  centers. Fredrik received his Phd in Management Science from Univ.  British Columbia, dual Masters degrees in Operations Research and  Statistics from Stanford University, and a BSc in Purchasing and  Logistics Management from Arizona State University.
