Course Description

The 4-day work week is reduction in the work week from a standard 40 hours to 32 hours for the same pay and benefits.

The purpose and aims of the four-day week is to encourage business, employees, researchers, and government to all play their part in creating a new way of working which will improve business productivity, worker health outcomes, stronger families and communities, challenge the gender equality issue, and work towards a more sustainable work environment.

4 Day Week Global is currently running a pilot program in United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Israel. The pilot programme is a coordinated, 6-month trial of a 4-day working week, with no loss in pay for employees. We are launching new programmes every quarter in different regions.

Learning outcomes:

  • We advocate for 100% of the pay, 80% of the time, but critically in exchange for 100% of the productivity.
  • 4 Day Week can improve – productivity, wellbeing, engagement, recruitment, sustainability, gender equality, and innovation.
  • 6-month pilot programme of 4-day week, with no loss in pay for employees.
